ISNA (Islamic Society of North America)

The annual ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) Convention is known as one of the largest gatherings of Muslim Americans, bringing together families, leaders, youth, scholars, and professionals to explore their contributions in community development, education, media, activism, and civic engagement. Held every year on Labor Day weekend, the event also hosts parallel conventions organized by the Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), Muslim Youth of North America (MYNA), the Islamic Medical Association of North America (IMANA), and several other affiliated groups. In recent years, attendance has reached nearly 50,000 participants an impressive turnout considering the estimated Muslim population in the United States ranges between 6 to 7 million.

ISNA (West Coast)

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) hosts several major events throughout the year, with its flagship West Coast program being the ISNA West Coast Education Forum,held on every Year on January. The 14th annual forum will take place on January 16–17, 2026, in Costa Mesa, California, focusing on leadership development, mental health awareness, and advancements in Islamic education.

Along with this forum, ISNA also organizes its large annual convention every summer—such as the upcoming 2025 convention in Chicago—featuring discussions on community issues, social impact, spirituality, and civic engagement. ISNA additionally arranges various regional programs, including matrimonial events and community workshops, with schedules updated regularly on their official website.

MAS Convention (Chicago, Illinois)

The Annual MAS Convention is one of the largest and most diverse Islamic gatherings in North America. Held every December in Chicago, Illinois during the winter holiday season, the event attracts tens of thousands of attendees. With the dedication of more than 300 volunteers, the convention has grown remarkably—from just 1,500 participants in 2001 to over 45,000 attendees in 2024.

The Muslim American Society (MAS) is a vibrant religious and educational organization that provides impactful programs, community services, and learning opportunities for Muslims across the United States. MAS focuses on spiritual growth, leadership development, and strengthening community engagement through year-round initiatives and nationwide events.

MAS Convention (LA, West Coast)

The MAS LA Convention (Muslim American Society Los Angeles Convention) is the premier West Coast Islamic gathering, held every year during Thanksgiving Weekend. This annual event brings together families, youth, scholars, community leaders, and professionals for a weekend of learning, inspiration, and spiritual growth. As one of the most anticipated Islamic conventions on the West Coast, the MAS LA Convention offers lectures, youth programs, panel discussions, and community activities designed to strengthen faith, promote unity, and support personal and community development.
